BEAUTY

How has beauty being measured?
Beauty comes in many forms and could be measured from many perspectives depending on the eyes which see it. As in for me, beauty does not only comes from a pleasant looking personality or pretty face but also a kind and generous heart, polite attitude and behaviour. There is seriously no point of looking after your outer or physical beauty blindly without being bothered to take care and develop the inner beauty because that matters more. The more pure and beautiful you are from inside, the more beautifil you will look. That is what I strongly believe in. It's like what's inside your heart is being portrayed through your outer beauty. But of course this is not the matter all the time, sometimes people who are gorgeous(physically) may have a rotten heart or attitude just too nasty, rude and sarcastic. It's the nature, background, family and society that the particular person lived in. Hence, that's why things differ. But it could be changed. When there's a will, there's a way. As simple as that. So, my piece of advice for people out there, do not be stuck up or practice the "not-bothered attitude" nonchalantly. You would not know how it might affect others especially elderly people. Beware of the choice of word and body language do take into account about other people who live around you. Afterall, somehow, someday you might need their shoulder to lean on. Remember that what goes around, comes around and what you give you'll get back. It applies for everyone, no matter who you are. We are all equal for the eyes of the Almighty. Karma hits badly. A smile would not cost anything but might make another person's day brighter(who sees it). Try to sense and understand the essense of a beautiful smile and you'll begin to see the world from a different angle. Wake up people.

LOVE

Love is patient, and kind ;
never jealous.., never snobbish..;
nothing about being rude, not self-seeking or centered;
not prone to anger or danger,
rejoices along with the truth;
covers, believes, and;
hopes and puts up ;
with nonsense and everything,
Lovers might fail but;
 True love never fails.

Happiest Memory

The title might sound pretty much like a cliche but it is true. Is there any soul on earth living without a sweet or the most happiest memory in their hearts? Maybe it doesn't make sense for some of us, yet, it is vital for us to understand that everyone comes from different background, lifestyle, experience, perspectives, needs, ambitions and hopes. Whilst, needs and wants may differ with indivuduals' mindset and mentality.Coming to the point, I had ups and downs and several happy memories as well but when it comes to my happiest memory ever in my whole life, it was exactly when I first touched my newly born little loveable nephew who I named, Tashwakh Maurya. I was overwhelmed with happiness to have him in my life. I still remember how I felt when I first touched his smooth cheeks and tiny rosy feet which stimulated me to develop a special bond and motherly feeling towards him. I was deign to let go anything in order to be with my precious one and had exiguos time for myself. I didn't really bother about myself then. In a way, I grew up with my baby, had him close to me almost all the time. I went through each essential stage of his growth. Everything is so fresh in my mind, for instance when he first smiled, started to mumble, and during his very first steps. I was very meticulous when it comes to dealing with Tash, as he is the love of my life, seriously. He loves to guffaw and be dingy while I like to keep him dapper. I had plenty of awesome experiences and sentimental values in our relationship. He was simply the reason for my exuberant and meaningful life. He is my nymph and second nature. Nobody or nothing could change my love for him or replace his position in my heart. He is my most treasured possession thus far, toast of my heart, Tashwakh Maurya.

A mom thing is a joy forever

"Mum or Mummy in England, mom or mommy is America, speak French,it's maman, maadar in Parsi, mamma in Italian, ummi in Middle East... , Ibu or mak in Bahasa Malaysia... and if you start counting the numbers of ways we Indians address our mothers,we could write a book." - taken from a magazine related to women.

Drag Me To Hell

Haiz...how do I start? My friends suggested me to watch this movie because I wanted to watch something horror, creepy and scary. So, I planned for a movie day and watched it with another two girl friends of mine. Damn, it was so freaking disgusting but wasn't so scary. From the moment the old lady was being introduced (who seemed to look so much like a witch) it was all so dirty and nasty. That witch's role and actions in the movie was simply unbearable. My friends gave me a early signal saying "Do not think about food when you're watching this movie".. Hehe, well though it wasn't so bad but they were not wrong to say so. Well, yeah for those who need a good revolting movie for an entertainment purpose, you could watch it. Aye, now I'm promoting the movie. That is a simple and short movie review for "Drag Me To Hell"- Even nice people can go to hell--- from Ruby Radza. Beware and enjoy watching it guys.

COMPLICATED ??

What makes it complicated? Who makes it complicated? Where is it complicated? When it became complicated? Why is it complicated? And How?????
A problem is just a problem when there is no solution, similarly an issue becomes a problem only when we choose to complicate it. Eventough things are easier said than done, it is never impossible. In fact, the word IMPOSSIBLE simply mean I'M POSSIBLE. Interesting right? =) Always remember that being positive and nourishing positive attitude in mind is a vital element in leading a successful life. Practising positive self-talk each day could enhance your ability to handle and deal with things better, whislt moulding a confident personality within youself. Initially it may seem difficult but eventually you'll learn to imporove yourself. As everything grows with time..And it takes a lot of guts to write something with nothing in mind and publish it ;) ..

THE LANDSCAPE OF FAITH

     Religion is a very subjective and wide term or topic. And of course, most religious issues are often sensitive to be discussed but it depends on how we perceive it. Generally, people have an idea that any attitude or behaviour which is against the teachings of religion is a bad deed or the person would even be labelled as an appostate. As for me, I think we have the responsibilities and rights to choose out own religion,regardless of what we are born as. It is not about converting but the submission to God or to the religion that suit or interest you. Religion is certainly a vital element in everybody's life which helps one to lead a better or proper lifestyle by practising some good manners and to avoid from getting too carried away with the evil part or thoughts of oneself.So, in a way religion is important to keep a person well-behaved and to be in control. Human beings are born with negative and positive characteristics naturally, and it could only be seen in certain circumstances.
     Many people out there are blindly practising their religions without even knowing the basic concepts which supposed to be a strong fundamental quality. They always know what's their duty but sadly they are not aware on why they have to do so.This is indeed something to worrying to ponder on.This is because,from my point of view, doing something without learning the concepts does not work or helps either.Devotion to God comes innately,it does not have to be forced. Eventough, it's true that initially we get the first input of our religion through our parents but eventually we should develop our interest and knowledge related to religion by our ownselves.
     Besides that, religion ought to actually play a role of a medium in yourself to improve your spiritual strength, making you a wiser and presentable person.Religion should also make a person broad minded and create a great acceptance level in dealing with various kinds of issues,but always remember that it's a big no no to react like a fanatic, religious freak or a sickening pious person for others in the name of any religion. I believe that if any religion is being practised in a correct way after knowing the right concept, it would definitely help the person to be more emotionally balanced,patient,calm,a person with thoughtful and kind acts without any malice or prejudice in his or her heart.
     Furthermore, practising a religion respectively would help us to maintain and indulge in a peaceful life. A real pious person is the one with positive mentality and mind set whilst able to look at the outside world without boundaries yet set limits and live with it within himself.Surrendering yourself to God is not to be done physically but through your pure and sincere soul.A practise each day makes us a more disciplined and an organized person by directly guiding us towards the healthy lifestyle and appropriate way of life in daily routine.
     In a nutshell, religion contributes a lot in building up the blocks of our identities and ti instill good moral values in each of us. It is not necessarily true that one who is born as a Christian or Hindu should die as one too,because in the process of learning about yourself,and getting exposed to other religions or beliefs,perhaps you get attracted to it or feel more attached to something you do not originate from.This is beyond prediction.Thus, religion is our own choice, it does not have to accomodate or satisfy other people but more about fulfilling your personal need and satisfaction.

My Idol

To tell the truth, I do not have an idol. This is because fundamentally I have a strong belief that nobody is perfect in this world and an idol supposed to be perfect. Perhaps I could say that I have created an imagnary idol for myself who is completely perfect in every single aspect. My idol is a very positive and confident person with high self-esteem. I imagine my idol to be a man because it is the main law of attraction, I mean to say, opposite attracts.  My idol is very calm in solving problems or in dealing with any issues, whether simple or complicated issues. He is so reliable for anything, and available at anytime. Most probably, my inner voice is my idol (maybe it sounds really weird). Nobody could ever deflect him from his inner sense of peace. He knows what is right or wrong and what should he do in certain circumstances. He guides me whenever I am in need or in the midst of solving problems. he is such a great hero and idol for me.

My Mid Semester Break

     It feels seriously good to hear the word "break". It gives some space for ourselves to validate certain things and to practise inner peace. For this mid semester break, I already had a few things in my mind. So, it is not really a complete break for myself as I've got some things to do. After finishing the last class on Friday, I was actually looking forward to be done with the charity dinner function that I was supposed to attend on Saturday night with my best friend, Pavethira. Thus, I was pretty busy preparing my stuffs for Saturday. I felt a bit restless as I seldom attend this kind of functions.However, I still got to go no matter what because I have already bought the ticket.On Saturday morning, I went to college and Pavethira picked me up from there.We had some things to do in between and we finally reached Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya at 7.30pm for the charity night. I enjoyed the show and completed the night with photography session as usual. Well, what's new with girls. It was quite a tiring day.I stayed in Pave's house and got up at 12pm the next day. I stayed until Monday in Pave's house and my best buddy from Kedah came and picked me up on that night.We reached Kedah on Tuesday and I went for shopping to get some toys for my little loveable nephew, Tash and dinner for my family. On Wednesday, I visited my mother's youngest sister's new born baby boy. I was so eager to see him. I spent time with them for some time before leaving to buy gifts for my aunt and her baby and I left my mom there. I accompanied my aunt and left her house at 1.30am. Had mee goreng mamak for supper at 3am and hit the sack. The next day, I went to Penang with my mom and friend. I send my mom to our family friend's shop who is a florist.I had some things to settle in the other part of the island. After that, I went for a short walk in the Feringghi Beach with my friend. My mom called me and said that, my aunt's mom is in Penang( who was previously in a different region) and we have not met her for almost 12 years. Thus, I went back to the shop to fetch my mom and aunt, brought them for a vegetarian lunch and went to her apartment to visit her mom ( whom I used to refer as my own grandma). I used to love her so much when I was young, I still do. She was so surprised with our presence and couldn't recognize us at first. She is now 71 years old. We shared some old memories and stories. That was quite touching. Then, before going back I went to my favourite place in Penang, Gurney Drive hawker stalls and had my favourite food that I've been missing a lot. After that day, I spent the rest of the week at home,entertaining my little one,Tash. I shoot off from Kedah to Kuala Lumpur on Monday and everything starts back as usual. Classes, assignments and homework.

MY FAVOURITE SINGER

My favourite singer is Illayaraaja, 68. His real name is Gnanadesikan and was born on the 3rd of June 1943 in Panaipuram,Theni District, Tamil Nadu. He is an Indian film singer, composer, lyricist,instrumentalist,song writer, conductor, music director and film producer mainly in the Tamil film industry. So far he has composed approximately over 4500 songs and provided film score for more than 950 Indian films in various languages in his career spanning more than 30 years. His background scoring for Indian films is very wide and his songs and background score played a very crucial role in the success of many Indian films. In certain circumstances, even tough the storyline of the movie seem to be quite a lousy one, his songs in the movie still become hit. He is known to be and remain as one of the most popular and capable composers in the South Indian Film Industry. He has been a prominent composer of film music in South Indian Cinema since the late 70s. Although his works are mostly for Tamil film, he has also scored music for Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam and Hindi film industries. He integrated folk lyricism in Tamil and introduced broader Western musical sensibilities into the South Indian Musical mainstream. In 1993, he became the first Asian to compose a full symphony performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London's Walthamstow Town Hall. He is also a gold medallist in classical guitar, from Trinity College of Music, London. Besides, in 2003, according to a BBC international poll,his composition "Rakkama kaiye thathu" song from the movie Thalapathi,1991 was being voted from people from 155 countries and it was the fourth in the world's top 10 most popular songs of all time. He was also nominated in the best Indian album Music Awards category at US based Just Plain Folks Music Organization, which is the largest grass root music organization in the world, and stood third for his "Music Journey: Live in Italy". During the period of millennium, he started composing a variety of non-film music,including devotional and religious songs,an oratorio and world music whilst shifting his focus to Malayalam films. He is labelled or referred as Isaingani which means "a man with great knowledge in music" or as The Maestro. He has won four Indian National Film Awards, three for Best Music Direction and one for Best Background Score and a recipient of the prestigious Padma Bushan Award from the government of India. I am very much in love deeply with Illayaraaja's song ever since I was young. Personally I think that he has been gifted with golden voice. Most of my friends call me an out-dated person for being his fan but, I am never bothered about that. I listen to a lot of old songs especially in the the time line of 70s-90s.Even now he is still active in this field. Listening to his composition and voice make me feel great all the times and whenever my mood is not so promising, his songs help me to get better. I listen to his songs almost every day until this moment of my life. He is the best one for me regardless of the trend people are so carried away to follow, I prefer to stick with my favourite one, The One and Only Isaingani Illayaraaja always.

My Favourite Fiction Character

The one I've been dreaming to be,
       Main protagonist of Walt Disney's first baby,
Beautiful, Young and a Lovely Princess,
       With a mesmerizing voice..,

Fell in love with a Prince,
       who accidently interrupted her singing,
and that's how the love story began..,
       whilst the malicious step mother,
the Evil Queen, wanted to kill..,

Fear of death, led my Pincess to forest,
        found a little cottage, with a consolation of some animal friends,
surprised that the cottage belonged to some tiny miners..,
        Learning her fate, agreed to let her live,
Where she cookeed, cleaned and cared for all..,

Disguised as an old hag, with help of a magic potion,
               Soon discovered by the Evil Queen,
and poisoned with an Apple,
       Princess fell to ground.

Placed in a glass coffin, left in wood to rest,
            where the prince found and kissed her, and she got back Alive,
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,
             The One I Like.

Glee

Glee simply means a great delight or excitement. It is a "wow" kind of feeling. I believe all of us need it in our lives. We laugh with glee, we shriek with glee and at times we do cry out loud with glee. Glee  is everywhere. Wherever there is happiness, there is glee. We would be able to hear gleeful cheers during festive seasons, in occasions, or parties. Glee is closely associated with people. More people, more gleeful. Who are the people that are fond of this "glee" attitude? Those are most probably happy-go-lucky, fun loving, jovial, easy going, cool, love to mix around and getting to know people, try out fun and risky things, party lover, a person who likes to crack jokes, or perhaps, anyone with good sense of humour. These people enjoy and laugh out loud with glee when anything exciting or ticklish happens. This is how they indulge in and experince the gleeful feeling. In which perspective should we look at "glee"? Good or bad? Positive or negative? You never know, it is always something which depends on people's mentality or mindset. Well for me, I think it is positive as long as it does not harm or hurt others. For instance, a gleeful joke for you may seem to be an insult for another. In this case it is negative. Yet, the term "glee" by nature or in general would not cause any harm to anybody. Leaving that issue apart, how do you think we should express our feelings of "glee"? Probably through cheers, laughter, wacky guffaws, dance, games or screaming out loud. How do you show it? As for me, I laugh my heart out whenever I feel like expressing the gleeful feeling. Why do we need "glee"? I guess that we need it in order to avoid stress, pressure and boredom, stay happy, healthy and excited, to keep us going with enthusiastic laughter no matter what, helps to prevent or cure from sickness, and to escape from loneliness or mental torture of being a loner or an antisosialist. It is almost impossible to experience the gleeful feeling  alone by your ownself. We need to communicate with people to get crazy with glee, afterall meeting people is fun and full of joy. Thus do not feel "geli" to feel "glee". : D
